Hi!
So, we took a vacation. And this post was really for family and friends that aren't on social media. The pictures are pretty terrible for a photo website. But this is just my blog, so I can do whatever I want on this part. ;)
And although I stayed on Facebook and Instagram...because they're so easy...I neglected this site. Now is time to play catch up. I've been sharing a lot of phone pictures lately. Something about not wanting to put everything on the internet to be copied, or whatever, but more so I have new work to show at exhibitions. I'm silly this way? I will share a few of my better pictures randomly in the next few weeks. :)
We took a driving trip up the east coast, all the way to Montreal. Yes, 3,500 miles in the car...oh boy. It was kind of a vacation from everything. I didn't take a lot of photos, didn't exercise, didn't shave my legs. Ha
But what we did do is visit some family members and that was wonderful! With stops in Virginia, New York, and North Carolina we spent time with seven people I'd love to see more. ♥️
The leaves were starting to change. The weather, although a little warmer than they usually have, was beautiful! Our trip back had us pinned in at our stop in North Carolina from tropical storm Nate. Yikes!
I regret that I don't know how to upload my silly phone videos here, because I find them entertaining. Perhaps I'll look into that some day in the future.
A little family stuff. :)
My awesome sister-in-law offered to take me with her to yoga. I thought I was going to hang out with her and laugh at myself but I dug the class, too!
Mirror Lake in Lake Placid is highly recommended. We stayed at a hotel called High Peaks Resort. Be sure to get a spot on the lake!
Montreal....
As cool as it could have been, we couldn't wait to get back to nature.
But the music, the food, and french being spoken all around was wonderful!
